The UCSF Orthopaedic Cartilage Repair and Regeneration Center is staffed by fellowship trained UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery faculty who provide comprehensive, expert care for patients with any type of orthopaedic injury. The Center goals are to become a nationally recognized leader in cartilage repair and regeneration, including education, research, and the comprehensive care of the patient with musculoskeletal injuries.  Our physicians and researchers have each taken the time to study articular cartilage injuries of the knee and its treatment. They come from an array of some of the top ranked schools in the country, these include Stanford University, Cornell University, Duke University, Baylor College, Columbia College, University of Toronto, and Yale University.  All of our staff have faculty appointments with University California San Francisco in the School of Medicine. Our affiliation with UCSF, its research facilities, and resources allows us to provide state of the art care in diagnosing and treating cartilage injuries.
