We very much enjoyed seeing so many of our alumni at the cocktail party at the Pacific Union club in San Francisco during the AAOS Meeting.  Thank you to Drs. John Callander and Chris Strotz for making this year such a memorable one.

Needle in a Haystack

PlaySafe, a UCSF Sports Medicine community outreach program offers free annual cardiac physicals to Bay Area high school athletes.  In 2011, 327 athletes were screened and 16-year-old Ryland Burke was one of six athletes identified with a serious heart condition.  Follow the link above to read how our program got him the help he needed and put him back on the field.

OTI Marks 3rd Anniversary

Congratulations to our Orthopaedic Trauma Institute on its’ 3rd Anniversary!  The OTI was also voted “Best of the Bay” for the 2nd year – check them out at the KRON Best of the Bay Website.
