The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery sponsors two types of Grand Rounds. Orthopaedic Surgery Grand Rounds are ongoing forums where we discuss new developments in orthopaedics and provide information that will enhance physicians' clinical skills and ability to diagnose and treat patients.
Weekly presentations are held Wednesdays at 7 a.m. in the UCSF Nursing Building in Room N-225. City Wide Grand Rounds are a collaborative effort between UCSF, CPMC, Kaiser and the LeRoy C. Abbott Orthopaedic Society. These events are held quarterly in varying locations around San Francisco.
Continuing medical education credits are available through UCSF Department of Continuing Medical Education. The University of California San Francisco is accredited by the Accreditation Council for continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
