The objective of this educational activity is to educate staff, residents, attendings and all health care professionals. Educational content consists primarily of Orthopaedic topics, including Basic Science, Clinical Skills and Case Presentations.
The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
UCSF designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Certified Athletic Trainers: UCSF Sports Medicine is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for certified athletic trainers. Athletic trainers attending grand rounds may report up to 1.0 CEU of credit toward continuing education. Our approved provider number is P3359.
Other Credits: For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA category 1 credit issued by organization s accredited by the ACCME. *The approved credit shown above include .25 credits toward meeting the requirement under California Assembly Bill 487, Pain Management and End-of-Life Care for physicians licensed in California (except radiologists and pathologists) to complete 12 hours of continuing medical education in pain management and/or end-of-life care by 30 December 2006. †In addition, .25 credits of this educational activity meet the CE requirements of the State of California, Department of Health Services Radiologic Health Branch regulation for radiologic technology.
