Advanced Clerkships


The 140.01 Orthopaedic Surgery Clerkship is a four-week clinical experience for advanced medical students with prior experience in orthopaedics.  The objective of the rotations are as follows:

  1. Understand basic anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system
  2. Be able to perform an orthopaedic history and physical examination
  3. Diagnoses and differential diagnosis of common orthopaedic issues
  4. Be an integral part of each team
