Outreach

The Institute for Global Orthopaedics and Traumatology (IGOT) is a program started by the faculty and residents of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Orthopaedic Surgery to improve the healthcare of underserved populations affected by orthopaedic disease and trauma. The goal of this institute is to partner with educational institutions at home and abroad to develop strategies to lessen the burden of musculoskeletal conditions.
