2010-2011 Athletic Summary
Balboa celebrated a Cinderella story on the football field. After a 0-3 start the team bounced back and fought their way into the CIF playoffs. The team pulled out a tough victory against Mission High School before falling in the championship game. Overall, 4 teams made it into CIF San Francisco championship games including Girl’s Volleyball, Boy’s Soccer, Football, and Baseball. Though no championships were won, Balboa had a very successful 2010-2011 campaign on the fields and courts.
