2010-2011 Athletic Summary
O’Connell is one of the smaller high schools in the SFUSD. They field 10 teams in 8 varsity sports, with their strength being boys and girls soccer. Although they have not been able to bring home a soccer championship titles since 2009, when the boys defeated Mission in OT, O’Connell soccer is a consistent competitor in the AAA. The past 3 years, the boys and girls soccer teams have finished in the top 2 of their division, qualifying them for playoffs.
