Eliana Delgado, MD

Eliana D. Delgado received her B.A. in Philosophy and Religion in 1972 from San Francisco State University, in 1974 she received from the College of San Mateo an Associate Arts Degree, in Nursing. In 1977 she was awarded B.S. Medical Science from San Francisco State University, then concurrently received a Masters Degree in Public Health in 1982 from the University of California, Berkeley and her M.D. from the University of California School of Medicine, San Francisco, CA.
From 1982 to 1985 she completed an Internship in General Surgery, Department of General Surgery Highland General Hospital, Oakland, CA then in 1985 she undertook an Orthopaedic Residency, Orthopaedic Surgery, University of California, San Francisco, CA which she completed in 1989. Following her Residency she completed a Orthopaedic Tramua Fellowship in 1990 in Trauma at San Francisco General Hospital, San Francisco, CA. In 1992 she entered the Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship at St. Louis Unit Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, St. Louis, MO and completed this in the Spring of 1993.
Dr. Delgado became a Clinical Instructor with UCSF in 1989 and in 2000 was promoted to full
Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery.
