What We Do

IGOT Scholar Observerships

IGOT Scholar Observerships

IGOT supports orthopaedic surgeon leaders, residents and researchers by offering an observership program at the Orthopaedic Trauma Institute throughout the year.  Based on scholar’s interest the observership program may include daily didactic clinical lectures, clinic and operative observership with UCSF faculty, research fundamentals lectures, research project mentorship and cadaver lab skills instructions.  This program is directed to orthopaedic surgeon leaders who are from academic institutions with an interest in orthopaedic trauma.  The observership is for 1-2 weeks and travel expenses and accommodations are not supported by IGOT.

To apply please complete our Scholar Application at least 2 months prior to observership.
