Rehabilitation

Welcome to the OTI’s Rehabilitation Service

Proper rehabilitation can mean the difference between surviving and thriving. In some cases, a patient will be “better than before”. Our Rehabilitation Department provides the highest quality physical, occupational, and recreational therapies. Treatment is provided in the hospital for in-patients as well as for outpatients at multiple clinic locations. All patients require a physician referral to receive rehabilitive care.

Terms
Physical Therapy: Rehabilitative therapy that addresses gross motor issues such as walking and posture as well as general strengthening and muscle retraining.

Occupational Therapy: Rehabilitative therapy that produces a change in the fuctional level for everyday tasks such as feeding, dressing and bathing.

Recreational Therapy: Assists patients adjust to disability through leisure and community interests.
