Welcome to the OTI Spine Service

The SFGH Orthopaedic Trauma Institute is a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. The Spine Service at the Orthopaedic Trauma Institute is comprised of a team of surgeons, physiatrists, nurses and physical therapists offering multi-disciplinary spine care including non-operative treatment and state of the art spine surgical procedures. Our goal is to improve the patient’s quality of life.

We are actively involved in educating surgeons around the world on minimally invasive procedures to treat spinal trauma. Our ongoing clinical and biomechanical research program endeavors to develop novel techniques that will enable the patients to return to their pre-injury functional status.

Our services include:
Minimally invasive cervical, thoracic and lumbar techniques
Innovative surgical techniques for spinal trauma
Complex revision spine surgery
