Biography
Americ Alvarado, MA ATC has joined the UCSF Playsafe athletic training staff in the summer of 2009. He is also the current athletic trainer for the Redwood High School Giants. Before arriving at UCSF he brings years of experience from San Diego State University, University of San Diego, University of California San Diego, San Jose State University, and Stanford University. At San Diego State University, Americ, received his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training and at San Jose State University he received his Master’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis. Americ worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Stanford University from 2007-2009 where he won two national championships with men’s gymnastics and women’s crew.EXPLORE
