2010-2011 Athletic Summary
Galileo maintained its prominence as an all-around competitor in athletics. After finishing on top on Turkey Day in the 2009-10 season, the Galileo Lions football team continued its success with a 5-2 record in a rebuilding year after graduating 21 seniors the previous year. Other highlights include the boys volleyball team winning their first league championship in the school’s history. Hirai continues to promote athletic training and sports medicine at the school and has worked with a few students who are interested in sports medicine careers.
