2010-2011 Athletic Summary

On the playing field and in the classroom, Redwood had another successful athletic season. Every sport on all levels of competition competed for the top spots in league as well as sectional play. One of the top surprises was the emergence of the Boy’s Golf team in the Spring 2011 with a league championship. In the training room, Alvarado, with the help of some ambitious students, pioneered the first ever sports medicine club at Redwood High School. Hopefully as the club increases so can exposure to sports events as well as exposure to the medical field with UCSF’s two sports medicine conferences.  The internship group is planning a trip to visit Stanford’s sports medicine facilities in the near future.
