2010-2011 Athletic Summary
On the field George Washington High School completed one of the single greatest seasons in school history. During the 2010-11 athletic year Football, Boys Basketball, and Baseball all won city championships in the same season for the first time in AAA history. To go along with their Varsity mentors the Frosh/Soph baseball team won the city championship as well. As a bonus the Wrestling won their 4th All-city Championship. The Frosh/Soph and Varsity girls’ basketball teams as well as softball team each made it to the city championship game but just falling short of their ultimate team goal.
