Welcome

The UCSF Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Service is a comprehensive multidisciplinary program that specializes in the evaluation and management of disorders of the lower leg. A team of fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeons work in a collaborative effort with podiatrists, physical therapists, certified prosthetists and pedorthists to effectively and efficiently manage both simple and complex problems of the foot and ankle.

The service has the resources of microvascular and reconstructive plastic surgeons to help manage major trauma. Physiatrists (physical medicine and rehabilitative physicians) and the pain management team are available to assist with chronic conditions.
