Goals

The goals of the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery’s Human Performance Center:

  • To promote the highest level of clinical care & research in the areas of Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, and Performing Arts
  • To focus on preventive care & optimization of human performance
  • To make biomechanics and exercise physiology testing available to individuals in the community at any competitive level
